Due to the nature of both photography, we must make clear to you, our clients and visitors, that whilst the photographs on this site have been adjusted as closely as we can make them to approximate the colors, finishes and densities of our flooring, these are approximates only and are not absolute.

In addition, every monitor will display the same images and text slightly or very differently depending on the make, model, computer, operating system, the settings of the operating system, the settings of the monitor not to mention the browser, the version and the preferences. So much depends on the hardware, the software and also the settings created by each individual user.

Our Flooring Itself:

Each of our floors is custom produced to each client's specifications. So the combination of colors, finishes, textures, species and even different planks of the same species and flooring, will appear different in the photos and different from each othr in real life. In fact, that is one of the marvelous characteristics of our floors, each floor, each plank is an individual.

Factors exclusively in nature's province also control how the flooring looks. The grain will look lighter or darker depending on whether you look at it across the grain or with it; from above or at an angle. The different color inherent in different types of lighting conditions such as tungsten light at night or skylight during the day all affect how the floors look, how the grain shows up and even the color itself. Our famous Rustic flooring uses planks complete with knots, striations, interesting grain structures and a mix of hard and soft regions. Softer areas of grain absorbes more color finish while the harder grain and knots absorbes less. So the density of color is also affected based purely on the hardness of the grain and pulp of the wood fiber.These factors are exactly those that give our flooring its uniqueness, it's warmth and constantly changing character that no mass produced flooring can ever hope to attain. So please understand, when we send you a color and flooring sample, it will be close to the finished flooring, but the actual flooring will represent variations on the color but not the finish. And it is important to view the samples in the same light as the floor will be seen in once laid in order to obtain the most accurate idea of what the finished floor will look like.

Our flooring will last many lifetimes and in the process its character will deepen and become more complex. However, wear and tear will affect the flooring.
